I don't like the name Topaz (makes me think of the funny book & movie Topaze). I think Topsy is even worse, sorry.

I like the name Topaz--I think of the character from I Capture the Castle, one of my favourite books.

Topsy is an adorable nn, but I have to say I'm not crazy about Topaz - probably because of the z (I just hate this letter). But since this seems to be the only possible full name for Topsy, it could grow on me.

I think that Topaz is alright. I don't particularly like the zzz sound on the end of it, but it's cute and I think that Topsy is just an adorable nn for a little girl. I really wouldn't ever use it though as it nms. Cute on someone else's kid, and I would only use it as a middle name, as well.

I love this name. I'd never use it, but it would be great on someone else's little girl.
