I don't consider it offensive but many maybe would have been so I am cautious with the wording. I am not religious at all but I make sure to consider other people's beliefs just in case.
No, it does, because the meanings should be rewritten for example: Eliezer originally meant to mean "El is my help" but over time became a name meaning "God is my help"
Or maybe write it in the element description instead
