1. What do you think about this name and how good would usage be?
I dislike it, but I think it's a good character name if it's your taste.

It sounds old, but I don't think any name is too old for modern use, especially since it's a trend to bring back old names. I don't get why it would be a POC-only name.
3. Or maybe you don't like it because you dislike Alfonso?
I don't mind Alfonso.
4. Do you like Alphonsa or Alphonsine better?
Alphonsa is pretty. I don't like Alphonsine.
5. Do you think it's too close to word "Aphonia" that describes "loss of voice and of all but whispered speech"?
It would be if I had heard of "aphonia," but I haven't. I'm guessing most people won't have heard of it either.

Second question in second point was because on those ancestry sites, obituaries and two social media accounts it seemed like it's most people are people of color... now
