I like it! It reminds me of princesses and ballerinas, but it's not too floofy for a regular person.
I would stick to Sofie for Sofia or Sophie for Sophia, not use Sophie for Sofia.
Some more nicknames could be: Sof/Sofe, Fifi, Julie, Jet / Jette, Liette, Lettie, Ette, Ettie, SJ
