[Opinions] Re: A short list that is a bit all over the place :)
Ellery is nice. Not my favorite El- name (I like a lot of them), but pretty good. Reminds me of celery, but I love celery! Ellie is a cute, if not very original, nickname.Niamh is so lovely. One of my favorite Irish names.Elsie is adorable. Elizabeth "Elsie" and Elsa "Elsie" are great choices. I would probably use it.Sadie is my dog's name! Also works great on a human. My dog's "full" name is Sarah; I love Sarah "Sadie"!Mathilde is pretty nice, but I prefer Matilda and Tilly.Rosée is wonderful. Rhymes with José. I prefer Rose, Rosie, and Rosa, but I like how unique, warm, and bubbly it is. It tastes of champagne.Sumi is cute. I'm not sure where it's from, but I like the sound.Emery is okay, but blends in with the surname trend and the Em- names, plus it doesn't have much substance. It also sounds so close to Emily, which is a fabulous name.Henry is great. So strong, handsome, and timeless.Sam is fine on a boy, but I actually prefer it on a girl. I love Samuel though, and don't much care for Samantha, so it seems my opinions are all over the place. My choice would be Psamathe "Sam" or Samara "Sam". Or for a boy, Samuel in full, and only his mates call him Sam.I don't like Cameron "Cam" on any gender. I've even known a few nice ones, and I just can't warm up to it. It rubs me the wrong way for some reason.Greyson is mid; it sounds like the bearer would be generic, and I can't imagine one over the age of about 25. Nothing really wrong with it, though.Tristan is a wonderful name, so handsome and romantic, but unfortunately I knew a Tristan who was neither of those things. If I can ever separate it from him, I will love the name enough to use.LISTEN TO THE MUSTN'TS
