Don't really like it

Junette sounds like a name for an old-timey country music singer, a mix of June Carter Cash and Tammy Wynette. Tammy Wynette was born Virginia Wynette Pugh.

It's odd. I can't decide whether it's charming or terrible.

It's totally unnecessary but so charming! It calls to mind Margene, one of the focal Mormon wives in Big Love.

I love June, so this is very cute. In my accent it would sound exactly like Jeannette (which I also like, so win-win).

I actually really like it! That said put ette behind any name and I’ll likely like it 🙈

I like it more than June itself but Juliette or Janette are way better.

A failed attempt at uniqueness. Janet is fine; Jeanette is OK but for the pronunciation issues; I dislike June, far prefer Jane, Jean, Joan ... and Junette is just an unsuccessful hybrid. Interesting how people's minds work: without mentioning it, can you say whether her little girl has a kr8iv or a middle-of-the-road name?
