Not a fan of Harlow.

Sorry, it's a no from me. Surname-based first names, especially on girls, age badly to my mind - Madison, Ashley, etc. all evocative of specific trends.

Harlow fits in that nicely.

I personally don't like it because it reminds me of the word harlot. I think Harlow would fit in with her peers Harper, Marlowe (which I prefer for the literary nod) and Harley though. I think Harlow Elise is nice. I would use something classic as a middle name but not a filler name either so

or for something a little bit out there how about Harlow Cosette/Colette?

I'm not totally opposed to the name Harlow in theory; it does have a vintage glamorous slinkiness to it that I enjoy. But I think if I came across it in real life I'd find it disappointing, I just get that feeling about it.

For that reason if forced to make a combo for a woman I'd pair it with something long and frilly-ish to balance out Harlow's masculine vibe.
