[Opinions] Opinions on Jean/Jeana
I met someone today named Jeana. What do you think of it and Jean? Which name do you prefer?

I like Jean/Jeanne. Jeana is nice too. Seems Gina would be the more intuitive spelling.
I would use either for a middle name!
I prefer the Gina spelling. I like the names Jean and Jeanne. The problem with Jeanne is that people often pronounce it with two syllables like Jeannie.
I love Jean (and Jeanne, which I prefer).Jeana's confusing.
Jean is pleasantly Scottish and a nice change from Jane. There is a chance of confusion with the male French name, but not for long! Jeana sounds like a variant of Gina, which I vastly prefer.
I prefer it spelled Gina, but Jeana is nice. Jean and Jeanne are both names I love. I think Jean could have a modest comeback. It's so snappy, retro and competent.
Jean is very old lady to me, plus also male in France. I like Jeana a lot. Good middle of the road between old fashioned Jean and Trendy Jenna and Giana
