I suppose all if not most color names could be considered adjectives.
I've heard some people use words likes Precious, Brave, True, Noble as first names. I've seen Jolie and Belle used mainly in English-speaking countries, but they are adjectives in French, meaning pretty and beautiful respectively. Oh and Clément in French literally means, to be merciful. We can say ''il est clément'', which means ''he is merciful''.
And Ernest sounds like the word ''earnest''.
