I've know a Cassandra and a Johanna (the latter's mother is German) and a Josephine (surprisingly only one of the latter, known as Jo).
My favourite out of your list is Francesca (Cesca or Ceska make passable nns). I don't dislike Cassandra. Not keen on Bethany and don't see it as elegant. Beatrix is preferable to Beatrice imho - less of the "beat rice" connotation, but not exactly elegant in my mind, more spunky. Ophelia and Evangeline are elegant but not my style. I prefer Evelina to Avalene and Annabeth to Annelise.
