Why do I love the name Candace? It's unpopular on this website, but I really love it. I don't know why it appears to me.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the point of this post, but this an odd question to me. None of us are going to be able to tell you why you like it. Especially, if, like you say, it's unpopular here. Why do you like any of the things that you do? Because something about it appeals to you. Maybe you enjoy the sound, spelling, or associations. But similar to having a favorite color or favorite animal, you don't need a reason. You're allowed to have preferences and it's not weird.
I like it! I know a mom named Candace. It's a bright-sounding name but it has some style too.
You like it because you like it, and that's all the reason you need.
Other people not liking it or it not being as popular as it once was has nothing to do with whether you or anyone else likes the name. You like it and that's it. Who do you need to justify or explain it to?
I like it, but not enough to use as a first name. As a middle name, the bearer would be safe from the horror of being known as Candy.
That's a good point. Candy doesn't sound great. But if my name is "Scarlett" and no one calls me "Scar", I think you can pretty much walk off any nickname.

I love the name Candace too. Although it is unpopular opinion, I love the nickname Candy.
