Weird names are exclusive to the deep south. If you look up a weird name, chances are they are most popular in the deep south, while more classic names up north. My guess is lower education in the deep south, less multicultural influence, and more family traditions.

I don't see this at all. I see a lot of influencers and chronically online people using "tragedeigh" names.
