Violet & Amethyst I love! Phoenix, Gemini, & Aubergine aren't my style.
If I had to use a color theme, I think I'd use red. I don't like red very much, but the names associated with red are beautiful: Cerise, Rory, Roselle, Ruby, & Scarlet.
I also think the purple set could perhaps be improved by using Ianthe, Iris, & Jacinda instead of Aubergine, Phoenix, & Gemini. Purple's my favorite color, and I too am quite obsessed with it!
