[Games] Name Roast
Replies
I realized after doing this that I thought this was a first impressions game and not a roast. Apologies!!
Totty -- I heavily associate this with college football chants & cocktails. Even aside from that it just seems juvenile
Jream -- nope. I cannot STAND the way Jr looks, and it being a kreatyve spelling of a *word* is not doing it any favors.
Beverly -- I find this name quite endearing, actually! Immediately makes me think of the 80s, but I think it could make a comeback someday with the "Everleigh" trend
Patriks -- seems European to me. I might prefer this to Patrick, but I don't like either of them very much.
Shelagh -- I like Irish names, but this is one I'm not as found of. I'm not really sure what it is about it, but it's never clicked for me. Outside of Celtic areas, the -lagh ending just doesn't work.
Deborah -- I want to like this name so bad, because it's got such a cute meaning, I like -orah endings, Debbie is cute, but I just cannot get behind it. There's something about the "br" sound that I don't enjoy, and the name itself is so dated -- I can't think of a single Deborah under age 40.

Totty- In British slang, "totty" can refer to a young, assertive, and potentially negative young woman, sometimes with implications of prostitution.
Jream- Just spell it correctly, Dream.
Patriks- a major misspelling of Patrick.
Shelagh- a major misspelling of Sheila.
I can't roast Beverly or Deborah because I like those names.
