Until today, they both reminded me of odor / odiferous, and odious / odium.
Because I was pronouncing them oh-dette and oh-deal.
Then I saw the French pronunciations that sound more like "odd." Odd-ette and Odd-eel. lol, that's actually a lot better.
Still don't really like them, though!
Odilia and Otilia are nicer (oh-TEE-lya) in my opinion.
