[Opinions] Re: Names for a Girl
in reply to a message by CJ
I think Alyssa Alexandra flows well even with all the As.
Alyssa Catherine Odette Perry is my favourite. Each name starts with a unique letter and a distinct sound that flows but doesn't run together. Alyssa Sophie is a close second. There's a balance between the 3 names and it flows with your surname.
Alyssa Gabrielle has too many syllables. It starts to feel like a tongue twister.
Elizabeth sounds too similar to Alyssa, it's like saying the same name twice. Vanessa has the same issue.
Hannah doesn't flow. It's a case of the As tripping over each other.
Alyssa Kaitlyn Odette Perry works. I'm partial to the elegance of Catherine, but Kaitlyn is modern and flows well with the rest of her name.
Lena has the same problem as Hannah.
Alyssa Maree (I assume pronounced like Marie?) is okay, but Maree feels a bit out of place between Alyssa and Odette.
Natalie is again a situation of too many mismatched syllables right on top of each other and turning into a tongue twister. Ditto Serenity.
Congratulations btw :D

Thank you so much. Very helpful name analysis. This kind of feedback makes it easier to narrow down name list.
