[Opinions] Ember
I heard a baby named it recently. I really like it! What are your thoughts.

It's edgy and no-nonsense, although I can't help but view it as a "typo" for Amber. I hope it grows on me, because it's not a bad name.
It’s prettier than Amber IMO.
It's fine and nice and much better than Amber in my opinion.
Sounds like Amber, said in a local accent.
It's not bad but not one of my favorites.
It's fine. I know someone with this name who is artistic.
I like it. I prefer Amber to Ember, but I still think it's fine.
I love it. I think it sounds a bit older just because of its similarity to Amber, as in it’s hard to picture in a literal baby, but still good (and can be Em/Emmy for a while).
Prefer Amber. Ember just sounds like a weird regional accent trying to say Amber.
personally, I don't like it that much.
I don't mind it. It does have neon-flashing "look at me" main character energy, and that can be hard to carry for some. I could see people who love romantasy liking this name - it has that vibe of trashy lo-fi magic that is all the rage these days, along with Luna, Sage, Isla, Everly etc. And I don't necessarily dislike that, it feels cozy and nostalgic for me because that was the sort of thing I was really into when I was in my early 20s. Ember is young and hyper-romantic in a modern way. It also feels a little bit more flexible than Amber, because Ember can use Emmie/Em as a nickname.
Not gonna lie, it sounds to me like the name of the main character of a bad Wattpad story. Like it's trying too hard to be edgy and unique. I see the appeal, but I could never take it seriously.
I like it.
I never liked Amber. I associate the sound of Amber with Kimberly, and it doesn't seem to me like the same vibe. Ember kind of makes me think of month names. But I can see how some people might confuse it with Amber. It's a trendy name, for sure, but for those who don't mind that, I think it's one of the better ones.

It's just the 2020s version of Amber.
Prefer Amber by a mile.
I expect it to get fairly popular in the future with young GenZ and Gen Alpha parents.

It's like an English version of Iskra. I like it.
