To be honest, I know the lore, I just panicked because I am scared of being judged, because Bernard is an enslaved black man who has to escape. My American friend told me it's okay because it's not uncommon for interracial love stories to appear in American media about that period, but I haven't gotten over my anxiety.
I will share if I won't get judged (There's nothing problematic going on in their story, I have no reason to be scared.)
