Reverend Brother Dannad Tye Homby [halfling cleric, lawful good]
Reverend Brother Dannad Homby grew up the eldest of 6 children in a largely peaceful halfling burrow. That all changed at only 15, when his burrow was raided by gnolls and his parents were children. Dannad immediately stood up despite his grieving and began working to provide for his siblings, working as a scribe for his local temple in exchange for food and clothing for the 6 of them. Despite the weight this took on his young heart, he did his best to stay cheerful and loving for his siblings to support them in their own grief and give them as normal a life as they could have. Touched by his devotion to his family and his faith, and torn at the heart for his situation, the goddess Yondalla granted Dannad with divine magic, mostly of healing but some of defense, with the caveat that it only be used for good. In thanks, Dannad stayed in her service, becoming a cleric of Yondalla and staying in his burrow and temple until all of his younger siblings had settled. Now, at 100, Brother Dannad is something of a spinster, having spent his life caring for his family but with no family of his own. With Yondalla’s permission, Dannad has sought out an adventuring party to have a change of pace in his life before he reaches old age, and perhaps even find his own love along the way. Despite most of his world experience being in his home burrow, Brother Dannad is a skilled fighter when necessary and a peace-seeking diplomat, talented at diffusing situations and understanding the plight of others. He has dark brown skin, long golden locs, brown eyes, and wrinkles of middle age. He fights with a light crossbow.
