Bridget is a fun name, though hardly elegant (some parents aren't looking for that, though). I went to school with a girl whose name was spelled Bridgett, two Ts, and she hated her name as a child. I wonder what she thinks of it now...
I don't care for Bridgette, though--it looks like the emphasis is supposed to be on the second syllable: bridge-ET.
