I like how both names feel simultaneously modern and well-established. They really toe the line with being too flashy and risk dating themselves, but for now I think it works.
I dont think I've seen any Toyota Avalons around where I live actually. Nothing compared to the amount of Corollas, Camrys and Prius' on the road.
Admittedly when I first heard the name Avalon I thought of it as a boys name. I'm still a little miffed that it isn't, but I can understand the reasoning haha.
