Juju is my preferred short form. Ju is too short and sound-alike to Jew, but Juju sounds like a proper nickname to me.
I like Jules, too, though. Seems masculine enough to me. :) Hmmm...Linny for Julian, perhaps? I love Linny as a nickname in general. And Lee for either?
