My name is Rhian Henry and although I'm from Wales I think in my family it actually originated from the South of England

Henry is more common in Scotland than in England or Wales. In Ireland it is said to be used for MacEinri and O hInneirghe, but I'm betting most Irish Henrys would have a Scottish or English origin.
Henry is also a common French surname, more common than the alternative spelling, Henri; and it's a surname among the Rumantsch speakers of Eastern Switzerland - a multinational surname.

Please forward a sample of your father's DNA to ... REALLY! How am I supposed to know that?
Here's a little exercise you can do if you feel like it.
Take a look at the following websites -
//scripts.ireland.com/ancestor/surname/index.cfm (Irish surname site)
www.spatial-literacy.org (British surname site)
On the latter site you'll have to find the surname profiler via the site map.
Put the name "Henry" in the search engine on each site and you'll have some useful data to play with. Whether or not you'll be any wiser about your father's ancestry I cannot say.

Here's another idea for you.Collect as many surnames from your father's family background and see if you can work it out that way.
Example: your father's surname is Henry, we assume HIS father's surname was Henry. What was his mother's surname? If it was Mulligan or O'Donoghue, you can assume that's where his Irish ancestry came from. If it was Featherstonehaugh or Grimwade, it's looking English, right? If it was Johansson or Ljungberg you're no wiser, so you'd better look at the grandparents. Have fun!
