As it's not a Gaelic-speaking place you're living in, pronunciation should be a concern. It is the child, more than yourself, who'd have to deal with her name being pronounced wrongly 99% of the time. I imagine that'd be a great, great nuisance to her, and probably not worth any name, however beautiful. (Which Caoimhe and Aisling are.)There are intact (unanglicised) Irish names that are more pronouncable than these. Even living in Scotland, there are Gaelic names I shy away from just because of spelling._____________________________________________________________________Elinor
