I was actually just thinking about this name recently after watching Transamerica. The character named Sabrina in the movie usually went by Bree though. Sabrina has a pretty sound to it, but it's not one that I would use. This is probably because I didn't exactly get along with a girl named Sabrina in my 3rd grade class. I don't automatically think of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch".

Very Audrey Hepburn related, and who can't love her?!? But Sabrina's one of those names that fits at any age.

An old, probably very forgetful man at my work, just walked by my desk and said, "How are you, Sabrina?" He thought that was my name! Weird coincidence, huh?

I was actually just thinking about this name, how I'd love to give it to a child right now! Yes, Sabrina the Teenage Witch comes to mind, but so does a babysitter I had, a counselor at a camp I went to, and my friend's cat. So not only The Teenage Witch comes to mind for me. Plus people say I look like her, and that's cool, hehe.

I really love the name. It's pretty, but not too common. I think I'd love to have a little girl named Sabrina and call her "Bean."

Hmm, for a story, I don't think it screams Teenage Witch. It's a recognized name, and it is heard in other places. There are somethings that are only attached to one character (like Hermione-Harry Potter, or Elphaba-Wicked). But it's a name that works in real life on a normal person, and would therefor be believable on a character. So, go for it!
