I like the name, though I do prefer Estella. Ellie works, or Stella, Elle, Essie. Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

WDYT of Estelle?Prefer Stella, but Estelle is pretty. I do agree that Estelle is preferable to Estella, though. What nn would you use? (I was think Ellie? WDYT?)Probably none since the name isn't that long in the first place. Maybe Stella because I just love it. I probably wouldn't use Ellie, though, because it is getting ubiquitous for any name with an E and an L in it. I like Esta or Essie / Essa , and I think they flow well from Estelle, very natural NNs.Would you use it?Certainly.Any combos?Estelle Camille - lots of L's, but I like the sound
Estelle Helene
Edith Estelle - so alliterative, but in a good waySorry, I'm drawing a blank. If I think of anything, I'll let you know. :)

I like Estelle Helene a lot! Camille Estelle has too many l's for me. I love the sound of Edith Estelle, but I don't like Edith. I do LOVE Eden though (with the nn Edie)...WDYT of Eden Estelle?

I like Estelle. It's pretty, strong and elegant. And I too, prefer it to Estella.
The nn's Ellie or Elle or Ella are nice, but strangely, I look at the name Estelle and see TESS as it's nn. Don't know why, I guess it's the prominent sounds.
Personally, I wouldn't use it as a fn, but would love to see it as a mn.Aoife Estelle - so nice.
Siobhan Estelle
Aisling Estelle (hehe)
Maeve Estelle
Saoirse Estelle
Caoimhe Estelle
Niamh Estelle wow, it works with so many names!Summer Estelle
Willow Estelle
Mathilde Estelle - this i LOVE.
Or as a fn,
Estelle Maeve
Estelle Willow
Estelle Indira
Estelle Violet.Do you like any?

I don't think I would ever use it as a fn either, it was just a name randomly passing through my mind today. Its possible I would use it as mn thoughLove Siobhan Estelle, Niamh Estelle, Aisling Estell and Saoirse Estelle (and this is awesome as I have been looking for a mn for Saoirse!)
Summer Estelle is really pretty actually...it sounds really strong and beautiful and kind of bohemian. My current combo for Summer btw is Summer Eibhlin (the ave-lin pronounciation)...WDYT?
Willow Estelle is lovely for the same reason as Summer Estelle I think.
I adore Estelle Maeve (hehehe Ellie Maeve :p) and Estelle Violet!Thank you for so many lovely suggestions!

It's weird that I like Stella so much but I can't stand Estelle / Estella. SOOOO old lady to me. Chain-smoking, blue-haired, shuffleboard-playing old lady.

lol and I think the opposite! I automatically think of Stella or Estella as a mean old woman who smokes too much and sits around playing cards whinging about children today and how great 'the good old days' were :pIt is funny how people's perceptions can be so different!

Love it. Estelle is very beautiful. I would personally prefer it without a nn but if I had to use one, I'd probably go for Essie. I could see myself using this name, even though it's not currently among my top 10 favourites.

I really don't like the nn Stella, I know it seems like the obvious choice but I associate Stella with smelly crabby old women!
Karine Estelle is nice

I like a much better than Estella! It sounds really nice, actually! In my family, nicknames usually come from the first sound or syllable. I'm Julia, so I'm Juju or Jules. But with Estelle, Est sounds funny! I'd call her El, or Ellie.Yah, I just addedit to my list. It's definetely something I could use!Hmm, combo's... I'm not good at those! Maybe something with two syllables? Sorry, I'm not much help here!
