Here lately, I've been liking these names for a boy. I was looking at the popularities of each of these spellings, and it appears that Reese Witherspoon has increased that spelling's popularity on the girl's side. However, there's still plenty of competition from the boys on this name, and Reece is still all-boy (from the top 1000). Rhys has not made it into the U.S. top 1000 at all (although it is in some other places). What do you think of the name in general? Which spelling do you like the best?

I like this name. I like the Reese spelling for girls and Reece / Rhys for boys.

I don't like the name much, but Rhys is by far the most "right" and masculine on a boy, in my opinion. Reece and Reese are surnamey and the ee's emphasize the sibilant too much.

Reis, Reiss, Rhece might be okay, if you don't mind the surnamey look.. all better than Reese/Reece, imo.

I don't like boy's names on girls at all.
And I can't understand the spellings Reece and Reese. It's like spelling it Mykul instead of Michael- you just wouldn't do it.

I like Reese for a girl though I'd probably use it as a mn if it all. I loveee Rhys for a boy. I think the fact that it doesn't have an vowels makes it look interesting. The spelling Reece reminds me of the candy. lol I think I'm a bit too hungry at the moment.

I don't like it on either sex (though I think that it's best left for the boys). It just sounds so whiny, and I can't get past the association with Reeses candy. I suppose the spelling Rhys is best because it doesn't make me think quite as much of the brand of candy.

I like Rhys, for a boy. I don't particularly like it on a girl but if I did I'd spell it Reese. Reece looks too much like Fleece for me.

It's very overused (on boys) here, so I have a hard time liking it. Rees is probably my favourite spelling though.

I like the name, I think it's cute but would work for the child when they grow up as well. For a girl I would deffinately spell it Reese, it just looks better. For a boy I'd spell is Reece, I don't like the spelling Rhys at all.

This name has been growing on me as well recently (for a boy, of course).

I went to school with a Reese and know of a Reece so all the spellings are all-male to me. I prefer the spelling Rhys though. I find it interesting as it has no vowels (as in a, e, i, o, u, although you could class y as one) in as such, like in Bryn (which I also only prefer on a boy) so I've always though Rhys and Bryn would be a good set.

I used to hate this name, but I've really started liking it recently. I like Reese on a girl, and Reece on a boy.
