[Opinions] Bridie
This combo just came into my head: Bridie Victoria. Do you like the name Bridie? Or does it sound too nicknamey? What are your opinions?Any combo suggestions?

hey! my name is Brydie Elise, and i think if anyone ever wanted to call their child Bridie it looks too much like Birdie, so you might want to spell it with a Y. It looks nicer. Here in Australia it is more common than it would be in America, but it is still a fairly unusual name, and for that i love it.

Looks like "birdie" or "bride" to me at first glance... I'd use Brigid or Bridget as a full name and save Bridie as a nickname. Bridie Victoria does sound lovely, though.

ReI thought it was a typo of 'birdy.' That completely ruins it for me.

Bridie is a sweet nickname for a child but I much prefer Bridget as a full name

I love the nn Bridie. But I do see it as a nn. Give her the dignity of Bridget / Brigid and let her decide if she wants to continue through life as a cute little Bridie. Bridie Victoria flows very well. I recently saw Brigid Erin (nn Bridie?) on a poll and it's stuck in my head.
