Help[Opinions] Walter?
This name has been quickly growing on my and I don't know why! Most people I know think Walter is old, ugly, and weird, but I think I may actually use it someday. So I just wondered what your opinions are on this name. Both good and bad are welcome!

I like it very much, actually. :) I've yet to find the perfect combo for it, but I think it's very attractive and smart.

Um, I know you were looking for mn for it. However, it had nothing to do with your post! I saw it somewhere else and all of a sudden started liking it.

Oh, I know--I'm not accusing you of copying me or anything. I've just had a short string of occasions when I post about a name and then someone else does a few days later. It's just a bizarre coincidence that keeps happening, lol.
In any case, Walter = awesome. You clearly have good taste in liking it, and I'm not about to fault you for that! ;D

About 10 years ago, I met a 15-year-old Walter. It was a bit jarring, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked it.
It's not a favorite with me, but there's certainly nothing wrong with it. It would be quite refreshing to meet another young Walter among the today's sea of Kayden/Brayden/Jayden/Colt/Cole/Chase/Carter blah blah blah...

I think it's great and really handsome. I also like Walt as a shortened form, but Walter is striking on its own.

I like this name but not on a kid. It's fine on older people or as a mn.

I only know elderly men with this name but that doesn't make me hate it. I think its a great name, I don't think I'd ever use it (unless maybe for a mn) and I agree with Poppylena: names like Walter and Edith etc. are all great names but I only ever hear of elderly people with these kind of names.

I like it, but only as a middle name. I don't hate it, its actually rather handsome, I just know many geeky people with this name, so it kinda ruins it for me. Sorry :( It also reminds me of a walnut.
