[Opinions] Re: Logan for a girl?

If you use Logan for a girl you have to keep in mind that it's a very popular boys name that's falling in popularity for girls. For 2005, baby boys named Logan outnumber girls named Logan 20 to 1.
For some girls this doesn't matter, but others can be a bit sensitive about it. My friend named her daughter Logan, she was the only girl Logan to about 8 boys named Logan in her grade level. She was horribly teased and eventually convinced her mother to let her go by the nickname Lola. I know some like unisex names, but others it is quite unfair to give them such a name. My friend's daughter Logan is very shy and was a target of teasing to begin with, so giving her a name that was completely opposite than everyone else was very difficult for her. Kids can be cruel, and boys aren't always so open minded to their names becoming unisex.
I would prefer Sailor as a unisex name because it's not that popular or one sided in the usage.
