[Opinions] Claude
A name that I've recently added to my favorites list for a boy is Claude. What do you think of this name?

It's really grown on me recently as well. I prefer it as a middle name, though.
I really like it, though I ultimately prefer Claudius as far as masculine "claud-" names go. It's very elegant and handsome.
It's common in my area, (French-speaking), either alone, or as a hyphenated name, nearly always Jean-Claude. And *that's* sometimes shortened to J-C.
I don't like it very much because it makes me think of crabs lol. Also I think it is quite old fashioned, not my type at all.
Well, he certainly wouldn't run into many other Claudes in kindergarten.
I don't really caar for it, it has a very harsh, heavy sound as it's pronounced by English speakers. (The French pronunciation, Clode, is no better.) But it has some character to it, I guess.
My in-laws have a very nice, big fat furry orange cat named Clawed, maybe that's why I can't entirely dismiss it. lol
