Polish spelling, must be a Polish name. It looks like it's based on a place-name - Strychów? Strychowa? So far none has come to light, only a place called Stryków. A possible origin is in the word strych, meaning a loft, attic, or upper storeroom.
Take none of this as gospel, keep looking.
