Until now I've always read Jadzia as a three syllable name, and I don't think it's because of DS9. Jadzia just genuinely looked like a three syllable name to me. *Blushes* But upon reading your post I went back to Wikipedia...And read there that "dz" together produces the ds sound, as in the English word "woods". So, yes, Jadzia would be a two syllable name.I shall go slink away now in embarrassment...
