Help[Opinions] pronunciation of Evangeline?
I saw here (on this site) that it is normally pronounced with -leen at the end, and also sometimes -line (like drawing a line). In Nanny McPhee, it was pronounced -leen, and then I heard someone say this name today -line. Which is correct? Thanks!

Both are technically correct, although the Nanny McPhee prn. is far more common in my experience.

Both are correct, as Siri said. Saying with with a -lyn ending is also acceptable.
I, however, personally prefer the -line pronunciation by far. I really dislike the -leen pronunciation. The -lyn pronunciation, I'm neutral on.

Both are correct.
There are just two different ways to pronunce depending on where you are. A few names are like this. Lucia has three pronuncations. Clementine is one - I pronunce it clem-en-tine, others pronunce it clem-en-teen.

I agree. I have pronounced Evangeline both ways, and sometimes both for the same person. I don't think it seems to matter.
