I have a connection to this name as well--I was a nanny for a special needs child named Angelisa "
Angel". I would probably hate the name if it weren't for her, but I really find it to be very sweet because of the association. :) I prefer
Angel over Angelisa, though. And I know an
Angela who goes by
Angel. I think I'd prefer
Angela,
Angelica, or
Angelina with the nn
Angel instead of just
Angel as a formal name. Gives her something to 'fall back on' that's a little more mature sounding. Ya know? :b
