You are form Argentina, verdad? In proper Spanish, Judith is pronounced hoo-DIT, as J's phonetic in Spanish is equivalent to the English H sound and not SH. The SH for J, Ll or Y is Argentinean pronunciation. It isn't official nor proper.

http://behindthename.com/translate.htmlIf you click there, you can traslate your name. But, Judith comes up as nothing. My best guess is that it is prn. YOU-dith, or you-DEETH.An expert at Spanish names will probably reply soon, and give you a better translation :) ThanksLala

well, i'm not an expert, but the 'j' in Judith would be pronouned like the soft 'g' in Dutch (if you know what it mean; it is hard to explain on internet, you'll have to hear it to understand when you didn't understand before, argh)so it would be gou-DITH ('dith' like the ending in Madrid (= mah-DRID)) with a soft 'g' (i think argh has a soft 'g' but i'm not sure how to pronounce 'argh')

to add to that...(m)i forgot to say that it's written Judit (without the 'h')
