[Opinions] Millie?
Can it stand on its own? Or is it a name that needs to be a nn?If you chose the latter, which name do you like best: Milada, Milana, Mildred.

I think it can definitely stand on it's own, for sure. I named my car Millie and I would consider it for a future DD, but it doesn't fit with my future husband's surname.

It's cute, but should DEFINITELY be a nickname. My favorite of those is Milana, but I prefer Amelia "Millie".

I think that it needs to be a nn. Of yours Milana would be my pick, but my personal fave is Millicent.Kristen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Millie can stand on its own. It sounds formal enough. I don't like it very much, though. And out of those choices, I like Mildred the most, Milada makes me think m'lady and Milana makes me think place. But my favorite name that can use Millie as a nn is Emilia (it's one of my faves. I was looking for an nn that wasn't Emmy and got Millie - but I didn't want Millie.)

I definately think Millie needs a full name. My favorite of those three listed is Mildred.

I'd prefer it as a nn. I love Millie, but it seems a little childish as full name, imo. My favorite is Mildred. Mila would be nice, too.

I think that it can stand on its own, but I prefer it as a nickname. Out of your three choices, I like Milana the best. How about Milena or Camille? They're lovely names imo. Milla and Camilla are nms, but Millie works as a nickname for both.

I don't think Millie is really a stand-alone name. It doesn't age well to me. Of your options, I prefer Milana. Have you considered Millicent or Camilla or a related name?

I know someone who named her daughter Milly. That's her FN, not a NN. I think it sounds more like a NN though. Of your choices, I like Milana the best. :)R.I.P Steve Irwin. We will miss you.

I think Millie is a great name on its own. It's a wonderful, fresh, and feminine name, imo. I actually used it for the name of one of my cats when I was younger.**~**~**~**~**~**~**

I think Milly does work by itself but I think its too cutesy, I think Molly or even Tilly are nicer. I think Millicent nn Milly / Millie is bestPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I have a friend who just named her new baby Millie. To me it seems a bit unfinished and should be the short form for something. Though if you like it as a full name you should go for it.I would choose Milana from your list.
