I like Mallory. I think it's becoming more popular now because kids who watched "Family Ties" in the 80s are now becoming parents. I like Mallory Katherine and Mallory Anne. I'm not big on Carol, but I like Mallory Caroline.

Mallory seems very dated to the 1980s to me. Masculine, surname-y, and also makes me think of a mallard duck. :-/ Connor's ok but it was overused in the 1990s so I can't get too excited about it, either.

I love the name Connor. I think it's a great name. I can't say I'm really totally into the name Mallory though. I knew a girl named Mallory that was a total jerk and she kind of ruined it for me. My 1 year old daughter's name is Katherine and even though I didn't pick her name (her birth parents gave it to her) I love it. Anne is a beautiful name as well but I think Ann looks a bit awkward without the 'e'.
