In France, sometimes names just have different genders. Examples: Renee is a male name, Dominique is a female name, etc. I like Myriam for a boy, and Miriam for a girl.

Dominique is feminine for most I thinkIts the feminine version of Dominic. So its not just in France.~~Kris~~
