After becoming a fan of the TV show Hope and Faith, the name Faith has really grown on me. I'm not usually a fan of virtue names but i'm really liking it. What are your opinion's on the name?

I love the name Faith! It's one of my personal faves...love the combos Faith Alexandra, Faith Christina/Cristina, Faith Elisabeth/Faith Elisabeth Maria, & Faith Nathalie Maria.

My cousin is named Faith, so I think of her rather than the TV show. I realize that the name started out as a reference to religion, but I don't think that the name sounds overly religious because you can have faith in something or someone without being religious. The word 'faith' actually means 'to trust'. Of course, being overly trusting isn't good, but a person should trust close friends and family members unless they are given a good reason not to. Sorry for rambling.

I used to think these name was corny and I didn't like it...but as of late, maybe it's because I saw an adorable little girl with this name in a recent People magazine, I really started to like it. Faith is a nice name.

I prefer Hope because Faith is too religious sounding for me.

I don't like it much. It semmes a bit tacky to me, and what if my daughter turned out to be an atheist!

But really, it's not that bad. Nothing I'd personally use or like, but fine on anyone else's children.

I quite like it, but would probably only use it as a middle name. I'd love to see it on a little girl though!

Faith has been growing on me, too. I like Hope a little better though.
