[Opinions] Zenobia
Zenobia was my great grandmother's name. When I was younger I always thought it was rather strange, and while it is still unusual to me... I kinda like it. Wdyt?

It's pretty and uncommon. I like it a lot. :-)

I've been attracted to this name for many years
I also like the spelling Xenobia, though I fear the Xeno- part might be off-putting, as it can mean "alien" (as in "foreign" or "unknown," not "little green man").

It's odd to me too but has been growing on me. I think it's one of my top 20 girl's names.

I kinda like it too. When I was about eleven or twelve, I wrote a story composed of diary entries about a princess... either she was Zenobia, or the land she was fleeing (:-P) was Zenobia. I can't quite remember now. I do remember that she had a black lab as a pet, though ^_^
Do you hear the people sing? Lost in the valley of the night. It is the music of the people who are climbing to the light! For the wretched of the earth, there is a flame that never dies. Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise...

It seems like a mean name to give to an actual child, but it's pretty groovy. I really like the sound & look. Having it as a family name might be excuse to use it as a mn for a future child of yours. They might enjoy having the middle initial Z!

It's not too terribly strange for me because in middle school I knew a girl named Zenobia. Its not my style, though.
