[Opinions] Elizabeth
Elizabeth is one of my favorite names, and I have always preferred the nn "Lily" for this name. Lately though, I've been loving the name Lila, so Lily as a nn would clash with this. WDYTO the nn's "Libby" or "Lissie"?

Nobody sings a love song quite like you do
And nobody else can make me sing along
Nobody else can make me feel
That things are right when I know they're wrong

Lissy is probably my favorite nn for Elizabeth, but I also really like Libby. It's my dog's name. :)

I prefer Elisabeth - which would go better with "Lissie" - but I love "Libby" for Elizabeth.

I like Libby! Lissie / Lissy is a bit childish-seeming IMO. Lis would be okay. Elise or Ellie seems most obviously good. Beth too.- mirfak

I know a girl with the name Elizabeth, and she decided to change what nn she was going by just about every few months. First it was Libby, then Lib, then Elise, then Libbi, then Eli, then...you get the picture. Anyway, Elizabeth is nice. I do not like the nn Lily, or Lily at all for that matter. I like Libby is a great alturnative to the overused nn we see on every Elizabeth running around (Beth, Liz)
