[Opinions] Re: Names of five Swedish sisters - WDYT?
in reply to a message by Ylva
I always thought Nathalie was a feminine version of Nathaniel or Nathan. Am I wrong? I feel lost now, and need some info!

No, Nathalie has nothing to do with NathanielNathaniel and Nathan are two biblical names of Hebrew origin.Nathalie, Natalie and Natalia have Latin origin and mean "Birth of the Lord".Though if you wanted to have a female Nathan/Nathaniel to honor someone, I think Natalie/Nathalie would be a good idea. But technically they are not related.- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball."I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to be spontaneous."
