[Opinions] Opinions on Finn?
I adore this name but I've got a few reservations. Is it too popular at the moment? Could Finn stand on its own or does it need a longer name like Finnegan, Fintan or Finlay? Do you prefer the original version Fionn or is spelling it like that just complicating things? Thanks!

I like it on its own but I adore Finnegan nn Finn. I do love the spelling Fionn but you'd def. have a lot of people saying "fee-on." :/

I used to prefer Finlay and Finnian and now I prefer Finn (this spelling) on its own, though I still like the other names as well. I definitely think it can stand on its own. I knew a little boy named Finn Erik, and I've seen it before and it doesn't seem nicknamey to me.

Many Finn names do seem to be gaining in popularity of late, but I wouldn't say "too" popular.
I do think that Finn can stand on it's own, however it will also work great as a nickname.
Depending on where you live, the Fionn spelling may throw people off on the pronunciation.
