These are all the nicknames I've personally seen/heard of for Madeleine (and variants like Madalyn).

Maddy
Addie

Del / Dell / Dellie (one girl; she answered to all of these.)
Madel (which was pronounced just like it looks: ma-dell)
Linnie
Delyn (pronounced like Helen).
I think it would be easiest to stick with Madeleine as a name; I think it's a beautiful name without using a nn.
Take what you need while there's time
The city will be earth in a short while
If I'm not mistaken it's been in flames
You and I will escape to the seaside.
