I wonder what could be the ethimology of the Croatian language term for Wienna: Beè (Bech). Could it be that it comes from Latin term Beccum (otherwise a small place with a monastery somewhere in Germany, as far as I know). Maybe nowadays Wienna was also a small place with a monastery in the past. Or maybe this Croatian expression has something to do with the Hungarian language influence (it sound very similar like the pronaunciation for the Pecz. maybe the root comes from Hungarian language ( in the past, Hungarian language was official language in Croatia, like it was German language since Croatia was a part of Austro-Hungarian Imperion
