Is the name Annabelle a hippie name? I have never heard of it that way I always thought it was a elegant classy name in my oppinion.

I think Annabelle (or Annabel) is more an old-fashioned and romantic name. I think of the poem "Annabel Lee" by Poe.
I could understand that some might find Annabelle too "frilly" but certainly not "hippie". Sunshine and Rainbow are hippie names.

I don't think hippy at all. It seems classic and cute... sort of old-fashioned in a way.

someone told me back in the seventies it used to be ugly hippie name... i guess this prooves my point it's still as classy as i thought.
