I came upon the name Alessandra reading a magazine today is this a form of Alice/Alyce/Alyssa and Alexandra together? WDYT think of this name?Make Glitter Graphics @ AIM-Dollz.com

I love Alessandra. It's the Italian form of Alexandra. Actually, I saw a cooking show once where the lady's name was Alessandra and they called her Aless, so even though it has a different origin from Alice, Aless sounds almost the same, huh? I like it.

Actually...Alessandra is the Italian version of Alexandra, it is not a combination of any names put together. I love it!! :)

No, it's an Italian form of Alexandra.I love Alessandra. It's beautiful, elegant, and wonderfully feminine. It's my favourite form of Alexandra, actually.

Not that I like the name, but I prefer Alexandra. I generally don't like girls names that start with Alex and/or end in andra.
