The meaning is nice but I think it sounds like disease...

humm, Enfys is a beautiful name with a beautiful sound and meaning, not sure how it sounds like a disease in any way..sorry i am Welsh so i feel quite protective over Welsh names, and maybe as somone who doesnt know the language it can seem like a very odd name...to me it is a ver pretty word that means rainbow and I would never think of it as an ugly word.

no thats ok, and now having heard your explination i feel that i should be apolagising as enfysem is a very similar word, but as i said i tend to be very protective over Welsh names as well it is my History my Heratage, my languge, so once again no need to apologise, i'll try not to take it so personally next time :)

I'm Jewish, so the Hebrew name thing is really a big deal for me, and when people tell me that the names Chaya, Chava, and Chaviva sound like you're hawking a loogie, I get protective. :)
