[Opinions] WDYTO Yasmin?
I recently came upon this name in my quest for a name that works in multiple languages, and I like it very much. However, it makes me think of Yasmine Bleeth, which isn't really a positive assocation. What are you opinions? Any possible mns you could think of?

I do like Yasmin Orabela (unfortunately Orabela reminds me of the word "oral", but I do like the sound of it very much). Thank you for your suggestions.

I thinks it's a very pretty name, but I prefer Jasmin. I have a friend names Jasmin Susanne.Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

Yasmin is quite pretty but be aware that--at least in the U.S.--it's the name of a birth control pill. :-/

I used to really like it, but it is a popular brand of birth control pills in the United States and now that is all I can think about! Kind of like Allegra and the allergy medication... why do they have to steal all of the good names?! :)

I like Jasmine much better. The Yas/Yaz sound is ugly to me, and yes, I too thought of Yasmine Bleeth when I saw the name.

I like it, but I prefer it spelled Yasmine. It's my five-year-old cousin's name :-)

I think it's really pretty and it seems like the type of name that would indeed work in multiple languages but I slightly prefer Jasmine. I had a friend in primary school called Jasmine who went by Jazzy and I always thought her name was really cool.

I far prefer Yasamin (yah-zah-meen), which is the name of an acquaintance of mine. She goes by Yassie (YAH-zee), and I've always thought her name was beautiful and spunky at the same time.I have no idea what sorts of names you like--perhaps you could give us an idea so we're not all just blindly coming up with combos for you?Array

Oh dear, that's difficult. I'm currently looking at Iranian names since it would fit with my background, but I'm open to (almost) everything. I prefer to steer clear of overly trendy or unisex names, though, and I always take the meaning of a name into account. Thanks for your input!
